Spanish Town Parade

In any other state, we'd have stuck out like a sore thumb.  Tulle, glitter, sequins and rhinestones accented the over-the-top makeup and bright colored attire.  But we were in Louisiana... and anything goes here.  Especially during Carnival season.

Changing things up a bit, we spent the entire day in Baton Rouge immersed in a whimsical crowd at the Spanish Town parade.  What a beauty of a day it was... clean, crisp and cool air helped to keep the spirit of the day alive and fresh.

The theme this year was "A Spanish Town Twinkie Ate My Ding Dong" which provided some hilarious moments.   It was a fun day of fishbowl drinking, friend making, booty shaking goodness.  Check out a few of our pics. :)  ` Christina
